- October: B2Gnow integrates functionality provided by BizRover in order to further enhance the system as the most comprehensive, end-to-end purchasing application for governments and their vendors.
- August: The community system is in regular use by purchasing organizations and vendors.
- June: Local vendors begin using the system to complement existing purchasing processes and interact online with purchasing organizations.
- May: With excellent feedback from the inital users of the system, B2Gnow prepares for beta 2 release and is launched in the next few weeks.
- January: Select local organizations begin using B2Gnow, which is now in its beta version release.
2000
- October: With the continual feedback of local advocates, the alpha version of B2Gnow is launched and testing begins with selected local government users.
- May: B2Gnow secures additional funding from private investors for the development of the system.
- April: The groundwork of the system is architected and development begins shortly thereafter.
1999
- June - December: Extensive industry research and conceptualization of B2Gnow, which is formulated into a solution-specific software application.
